Sodium

One thing I have to remember is that when I don't watch my salt intake, I can gain a lot of weight in pure water retention alone. I really trying to cut back on my sodium, but I am a loss as to how to go about it. Everything I buy in cans (even tomatoes and veggie broth) have high levels of sodium in them. I would love advice on how to cut back on my sodium or if you have any recipes that are healthy vegetarian low sodium, I would love to hear them!

salt is not bad.. sea salt is actually very good to the body. just not the processed stuff you buy in stores. you are right that processed stuff is bad. as much as you can...buy 'fresh' or frozen. tomatoes ..i do buy low sodium (or if you are adventurous..can your own.) But then add sodium at the END.. if you stay away from processed foods, your sodium level will go WAY down and then put in natural raw sea salt.. it is super flavorful.. but as much as possible make your own stuff.
